Our Story

Pre-baby I was a trendy working woman who indulged in picking out great outfits before work each morning, loving the compliments they welcomed. When my babies came along, I didn't want to lose the style that made me feel noticed and pulled together. I was on a fight to figure out how to feel like my old self, in the midst of all the daily baby gear. 

As I shopped around I was struck by the lack of fashionable accessories in the baby space. Everything was polka-dotted or dinosaured, and I felt like my baby had not only taken over my sleep schedule, but also my handbag!! So I set out to find a better way for moms. Funktion was born and we developed our first line, the Mommassentials.

Funktion Mommassentials – I realized I wanted to carry a bag designed for me and not for my baby. There are so many items we need daily as moms to feed kids and change diapers. All the baby gear I found was cheap and couldn’t keep up with my gorgeous bag. I created Mommassentials to fill that void for the mom who wants a little more style in her life. The pieces coordinate and offer all the essentials, providing what baby needs and what mom wants- style, beauty and order.
